How petrochemicals work

Post by dean » Tue Jan 28, 2020 8:55 am

I want to know how petrochemical works

because I want to know how to avoid being petrified and its effect

https://youtu.be/TQQ_ZH0FH7E?t=7585

In this video, I'm petrified, but my luck was 150 and my magic resistance was over 100

https://youtu.be/TQQ_ZH0FH7E?t=7633

In this video, it seems that after being petrified, fire resistance, cold resistance, and lightning resistance have all returned to zero

Thanks for taking the time to respond

Currently Petrify ignores magic resistance. I need to check how it worked in the original Lost Labyrinth, since this doesn't sound correct.

I'm guessing you gained some resistances from block? And because you suddenly lost all your block chance, the trait worked in negative direction instead because of the how the math is implemented! I would consider this a bug and something that needs to be fixed (Shield Mastery should only work in positive direction, not negative).

Petrify

Code: Select all

Physical Resistance +50
Lightning Resistance +100
Dodge chance -500
Block chance -500

Sorry, currently Shield Mastery will still return to zero fire resistance due to petrification

Yes, you will still lose the benefits from Shield Mastery while petrified, but you no longer gain negative effects from Shield Mastery (i.e negative block chance no longer reduces resistance, only positive block chance will increase resistances).
