Yes, "The Undying One" is currently the highest rank in the game. I did not expect anyone to gain this many score points :)

There is the rank cap, I think there is also a cap on the number scored.
I looked at my final score before picking up the last piece of the magic staff and calculated that the extra 25% score bonus would have been over 10,000 (my goal).
Maybe the win is not an extra 25% of the total but an extra 25% of... I don't know... points scored from gold or something like that.

Also...
I get the impression that the score displayed in game is not constantly updated.
In the end game Armageddon would get me kills but seemingly does nothing for the score, even when used as the first speel on a level.
I started killing monsters with other spells, thinking maybe this was just an Armageddon thing, but still the score was not changing (...or maybe just the display was not being updated?).
Thanks for your time, Max

Current algorithm for score:
  • +10 points per character level
  • +1 point per trap disarmed
  • +8 per room explored
  • +0.25 per secret discovered (treasure, door, etc.)
  • +10 per Perk learned
  • +1 for every 400 lore points gained
  • +0.5 per monster defeated or sneaked past (max dungeonLevel*10)
  • +1 per 50 gold coins found (max+10 points per level)
  • +0.5 per chest found
  • +100 per staff piece found
A bonus of 25% is added if the game ends in a victory!
