That's awesome! The graphics style really caputres that old classic Lost Labyrinth style.

Did you rewrite the game from scratch or base it on the existing PB codebase?

Maybe there was something useful in the logfile before it crashed? This sounds like a memory access bug if it crashed instantly like this.

The reason this happens is because the players turn ends after casting the spell and then enters a new level. Trap searching is done at the end of every turn (right before entering the new dimension level).

Thanks for reporting! I will look into this, seems to be some bug in how I use SDL to manage the OS game window.

I got the mac version up and running now. It seems to be working fine (on my mac at least!) . There were only a few quirky bugs around resolution changing that needed to be fixed. I have a mac, I need to setup the clang toolchain and test the build chain there. I've done it a couple of years ago and it worked then, but there are probably some quirks that need to be worked out.

I can will try to see if I can make this my next focus.
